I've seen websites be built in a day. Why does this take so long?
Yes, there are plenty of web designers offer a website in a day- meaning they don't look into your buyer persona fully, the layout is templated (not customised to how your audience makes decisions, or your traffic source), and it's very likely just to look pretty, and not be a brand building asset that actually makes you money.
